EBooks FreeBooks

They keep TRYING to sell us on the idea of reading books from the screen but they have a way to go yet before there is a serious challenge to libraries. However, where else would you stumble across the US Federal Trade Commission's 2003 report into spam email and learn that
Ninety-six percent of spam concerning investment and business opportunities contained false “From”lines, “Subject” lines, or message text. Does that come as a surprise? And would you PAY for that information?
On the other hand, downloading onto your ipod or other device would be/could be immensely beneficial for the hard of reading.
Reading a book from your mobile phone screen though? Puleease! What donkey thought THAT would be a goer?

We have ebooks, but they are books that you would not be expected to read from cover to cover. We have many of the Blooms notes to literatre and a collection of eBooks in the IT area.
Both collections of ebooks are used well.
